Job Description:
We are looking for a experienced SW/HW Systems Engineer to join our seasoned team of medical device/system developers. You will architect, design, integrate, test, troubleshoot, and document complex and often multi-disciplinary medical devices and medical systems. This position is also a leadership position where you will manage and oversee a team of engineers working on multiple projects.

Our team has expertise in hardware and software specific to medical devices that runs both deep and wide. We tackle hard to solve medical problems by bringing unique innovative development techniques for fast prototyping to deliver a quick proof of concept, all the while preparing the underlying path to production. Currently, we are developing medical devices for pediatrics, diagnosing cancer, ultrasound imaging, bio-function monitoring, and others.

Must haves:
- Leadership and management experience
- Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or similar)
- Broad knowledge of hardware/software system architecture is required
- Previous experience with design, bring-up, test, and integration of such systems
- Deep knowledge in one or more (and working knowledge in most other) disciplines including:
- Embedded software
- PCB design, bring-up, and debug
- FPGA development
- DSP and algorithms
- Analog and power systems
- 8+ years of relevant experience working on multiple systems of various degrees of complexity
- Experience working with medical systems/devices, medical device documentation, QMS, risk analysis, safety, V&V, etc.
- Experience with imaging and electro-optical systems, various sensors, IR, ultrasound, electro-mechanical systems, hand-held battery-operated systems, larger high-bandwidth systems, analog and digital signal processing front-ends
